Love, Freedom and Aloneness……

A Book to Remember*

When I was 14 my mom had got a book which was called ‘Love, freedom and aloness…by Osho. After seeing it many times lying around the house I decided to pick it up and check it out!

Already after the first page I couldn´t put it down-right to the very end.

At One. ***

It talked about the importance of being alone and liking it. There is a difference between being ´lonely´and being alone…. Being lonely is when you feel like you are lacking something- someone or something is missing. Being ´Alone´on the other hand he explains, is feeling complete in your own company- nothing to be added and nothing to be subtracted. If someone comes along -good…if they leave -that’s also good. As both real love and real freedom are unconditional . They just are.

It also talks about everything which can masquerade as love- like jelousy , possesiveness and the ego. I found this book fascinating even though at the time I didn’t quite understand it as I do now. Love is actually very simple-as it is what we all, at the core ultimately are.

When you can be by yourself and enjoy it , you have reached a really high level of freedom. There is a freedom in all of us which regardless of the conditions always remains. To me Freedom and Love have always been the most important ‘things’ to have and to Be -as they ultimately lead to to everything else.

I believe Love and Freedom go hand-in-hand. Without one the other would not be able to exist – and I can´t do without either =)))

Wishing Everyone a Life full of Real Love and Full Freedom now and forever more;))))

Be You !Be Free!

Osho Quotes :

“With me, illusions are bound to be shattered. I am here to shatter all illusions. Yes, it will irritate you, it will annoy you – that’s my way of functioning and working. I will sabotage you from your very roots! Unless you are totally destroyed as a mind, there is no hope for you.”
Osho

“The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it’s not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person–without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness cannot be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other.”
Osho

“Courage Is a Love Affair with the Unknown”
Osho

“Love is the opposite of [lust]: respecting the other as an end unto himself or herself. When you love someone as an end unto himself, then there is no feeling of hurt; you become enriched through it. Love makes everybody rich.”
Osho,

“Meditation is a surrender, it is not a demand. It is not forcing existence your way, it is relaxing into the way existence wants you to be. It is a let-go.”
Osho
